It's not a sensible persons car that always looks for storage spaces, size, numbers for the buck. It's a toy for the people who have made it. It's a Suzuki with a snob value.
The Jimny packs a 1.5 liter petrol engine mated with a 6 Speed manual or 4 speed automatic (primitive) from the Ciaz. It does a good job of keeping cruising speeds and has enough grunt for off road

Gurkha makes much more sense. Water wading capacity for this is also a concern. Suzuki should rethink pricing for this.

It is... This is a huge fail for Suzuki and suzuki doesn't fail normally.... It just shows how bad this is priced and to be honest, lack of competition has made them overprice it just like mahindra has been doing for last 2 years....

Considering all these, i think the price of this Jimny is fine and makes a lot of sense.

The 3 door Thar with it's horrible reliability, bumpy ride quality, pathetic resale value and overall maintenance is pain in the ass and also much heavier than a 5 door Jimny which is a big drawback for offroading in both clearing slippery and slushy obstacles as well as hard for recovery and also very impractical since no door and open windows at the back plus no space for luggage and it's priced higher than a 5 door Jimny. @@AutoShotsIndia Bhai, if 3 door Thar is priced higher than 5 door Jimny then 5 door Thar will be very very over priced and also if 3 door Thar is much heavier than 5 door Jimny imagine how much heavier the 5 door Thar will be. It will only be good for rolling on the highways and not offroad

Really? Alto has a hard top, it’s ultra reliable, it has Maruti service support, it has a good 1 ltr engine…. So should it be priced at ₹10 lacs???😂 Explain one thing, this has same shitty underpowered 1.5 ltr engine …. Only for 4*4 Maruti is looting customers…..

Jymny given more premium features then thar. And if you don't know about real off-road capability of jymny then yeah come visit hill areas of India. PS: if you want to showoff buy thar and if you want a prectical suv yet hardcore suv then it is one and only jymny in the current market.
