Tbh i don’t mind the friend zone and it’s not as bad as most people claim. To me the friend zone is like a sanctuary as it buys me extra time to better myself. See use the fz as personal time to get better. That’s what I use it for. I don’t use it to be miserable and incel like cuz that’s not my character. I use it to get better and make myself even more attractive. I mean I am attractive but I always strive for more. Also Melanie, might I add sign of attraction #18: always raise the bar for yourself. If you don’t raise the bar or challenge urself, ur never gona improve. It’s like that hamster on the wheel not going anywhere which fits with ur direction step. And also girls like it when the guy has purpose and direction. Cuz they wanna have the support and security as well.

I was never diagnosed, however I do believe I have asperger's. I spent so much energy and time as a younger person learning what to do and when. Now, many years later, I am consistently praised for my understanding and "way". I always say "it's more than half intentional" in a humble manner.

haha, me too. I have no idea what is going on socially, and like other ASDs, I choose "earnestness" and "just be yourself" advice, which is not effective. Sure, people may "like" you, but you provide no "social titillations" that attract people beyond a "hello."

+1 undiagnosed here. I know what it is... Keeping artificial eye-contact, keeping some appropriate kind of 'smile', following a conversation which is spoken (and not written)... It's worth watching so you know what not to do. These women who answered the survey questions are speaking from the perspective of the bad boy who did them wrong. Hooray for chivalry. Bring on the flowers, bring on the romance, bring on the eye gazing, this could be a long list lol Kindness makes sense. Brings to mind a saying. 'Always try to be nice, but never fail to be kind'. Nice that physical appearance wasn't really on the list, it should be heart that wins someone over.

What an awesome voice! From your very first words I heard they gave me goosebumps. And being a vocalist myself (as well as a songwriter, musician and body builder) I've heard a lot of voices and yours absolutely incredible. Your boyfriend or husband is pretty lucky to get to hear that voice all the time.

Melannie, your 17 signs are absolutely spot on!! I am that person after the Dentist sorted my teeth, now with that extra confidence and good smile, I have so many ladies wanting my attention everywhere I go, even passing in the check out at the supermarket, I get that extra smile and gleam from her eyes and some nice personable comments. You are right, my age (65) does not bother the lovely ladies I meet (18-45), that is not what they care about. I love your videos, they have confirmed my life long philosophy that the great virtues of being a gentleman/chivalrous/kind/generous/happy/fun /creative/expansive/healthy/well groomed and confident are what all men should strive for. Thanks for being beautiful as well :)

Enjoyed the video. Happily married, myself. The kindness one is interesting. Before I finally found my wife, one thing that a lot of women found attractive was seeing me in violent situations. That I was capable of defending things but I was never mean about it. And women worth being with recognize that distinction. So much is spot on... learning how to dress nicely, keeping a clean car and clean sink. Laundry folded. It doesn't have to be perfect. Just look like one cares. An interesting one that didn't go anywhere but still led to a date, a lady I knew saw me changing a diaper of a friend's child I was watching. But that has to be natural. It's part of kindness. I can't count how many times I have called my wife and said: Hey. I am going to be late. It's pouring down rain and there is someone walking. Let me see if they need a ride. And my wife adores me for it. (Side comment: I am careful about giving rides to strangers and evaluate each situation carefully. ) The eye contact one is.a tricky thing. Abused people don't like eye contact. Good video.

Great video Melanie, From a middle aged perspective, I feel women want to be loved, respected, and taken care of (not necessarily monetarily) however, have our best friend want to enjoy doing things together. We want to compliment eachother with a respectful attitude, we want similar values, we want to put eachother first (after God, that is.) It's not as easy to find a good partner as you age because many of the good ones are already committed. Most importantly, we want to share a deep love, joy, trust, and commitment with a soul mate, therefore, grow old together as one. Many of us are in a bad relationship's but are afraid to move on, it becomes very difficult to transition the older we get because we develop disabilities, or medical issues, etc...not to mention it's hard for most people to afford to live on just one income. In my opinion, the ideal relationship is based on true love, (not based on sex), but desiring your best friend by your side, it's about sharing a similar faith, political views, laughter, responsibility, and family values....it's about putting eachother first, after God. What do you think?

So nice to hear from a Christian Dating Coach. First time of watching and listening to your video. You have a gift of communicating and teaching that makes people want to get out and be who they are make a difference in their lives and other people. Looking forward in watching more of your videos. What I have noticed is that women are always smiling at me and I smile back but am hesitant to communicate more because I know that they are not Christian and will not have anything in common. Do not want to get involved and have her liking me and then hurt her feelings.

It’s an art fellas, it starts with how you feel about yourself. If you’re focused on “getting” and “having “ instead of building up yourself to “give”, you’re sabotaging yourself. Respect to Melanie, she’s helping you to build the best you not “get” something for you. This is where we are unable to use a fix all tool but rather be creative and become better men, Face our fears become better lovers! Better fathers! Melanie is definitely dropping a small piece on you but this one video won’t fix everything. Study and build yourself as you’d like and the women will chase you down... thank me later. Peace
