Not only can you knock people's mouthpieces out, the game tracks the distance it travels. You have a stat for the greatest distance you sent a mouthpiece. I want to know who thought of that, because that is absolute genius

Undisputed 3: We have better grappling, striking and KO mechanics. Ufc4: Well you can now wear a gold chain and crown during a fight.

THQ Is obviously better Than EA and 2K

UFC Undisputed 3 is Gold.

When you KO someone in undisputed 3 and still continue punching, sometimes the commentary will say that was unnecessary.

This is what EA does. Minimal effort for maximum profit.

Obviously UFC Undisputed was made with love and by people who are actually watching UFC..

Ufc undisputed = Pride rules UFC 4 = Paid rules

UFC 1: Stronger Moves/Strikes UFC 2: The Fastest goddamn gameplay I’ve ever seen UFC 3: More chances at recovering UFC 4: No elbows and slower and uneventful grappling

GnP is probably the least satisfying thing in ufc 4. Really wish it didn’t feel like you were throwing slow pillows at the opponent

The attention to detail in UFC Undisputed 3 is insane. The little things they had in that game just made it feel so "real". Wish EA would take notes. But this goes to show that since their last instalment, they clearly don't wish to evolve.

Another detail in ufc undisputed 3 is the face expression when your opponent gets koed like his mouth is open and the gnp a koed opponent is 100% better than ufc 3 or 4

Why is it so hard for EA to add these elements

It's so crazy to me. EA does almost nothing but sports games, that's literally their bread & butter. Yet, they're consistently outclassed by their competition. NFL2k5 is STILL better than the newest Madden, NBA2k is better gameplay wise, UFC undisputed, PES - you name it. It's always halfassed with EA.

I tried to stay positive about UFC 4 But they've purposely took too many steps back from an almost decade old game from last gen to not be upset about it. They've even gone backwards from the last game

Ufc undisputed u can feel the impact when hitting in ground and pound but ufc 3 looks like just jabbing in slow mo.

3 Honourable mentions, when a round ends in UFC Undisputed 3, some fighters stand up, rather then sit on their stool, which EA UFC 4 don’t have, every fighter sits on their stool. And when a fight is finished in UFC Undisputed 3, wethers it’s Sub, KO or TKO, the timer continues for a short period of time. In EA UFC 4, as soon as a fight finishes, the timer instantly finishes. And last but not least, the sponsors that are mentioned in UFC Undisputed 3, Mike Goldberg actually mentions the sponsors but in EA UFC 4, Jon Anik doesn’t mention anything about the sponsors at all which is totally unrealistic. Just 3 things that I wanted to point out.

I love how when you brutally KO'd someone in undisputed, they'd sometimes still be on the ground or the stool. The attention to detail is unrivalled. Plus the bodies were actually proportional to the size of their heads.

Also the ground and pound in undisputed looks absolutely savage. The animation actually punches through the target whereas in ea ufc they look like love taps.

They look at those as small things but they made the game feel more immersive and realistic

I loved how in career you could go to pride or take fights in different weight classes it was jus all around a better game in my opinion

UFC 4 is so awkward. Fighter receives a punch, and their head reacts in such a weird, rubbery way. Can’t explain it, but it’s not realistic and just looks terrible

Remember Career mode, where you can literally customize your character’s voice and every thing, choose a gym, build relationships or rivals, get to do interviews, have weigh-in steer offs ect.

I love doing custom events i genuinly have ranking systems and pick fights etc i just wish there was more detail in it like it shows in this video like more refs ref stoppages commentator interviews etc just make it feel alot more real at fun

It's completely insane after years of everyone saying they want this game made again EA keeps making more and more subpar versions of the same game. 4 has to be the laziest effort they have put forth. It's embarrassing. The engine is so much more fluid in the striking. EA always feels like there is a delay, you can hit 3-4 buttons and the combination will execute a second later

I still maintain Undisputed 3 is probably the single greatest sports game ever made. Every single little detail was thought about, and the animations were both scripted and flowing. It was incredible and still is today.

Even the blood in undisputed 3 is better. It doesn’t leak but it atleast stays on the Matt but ufc 4 the blood disappears

This game is easily the best, those player intros. Being able to see the whole fight card you were on. I miss being able to watch my rivals fight before mine to see how he goes, ufc3 and 4 are so boring the career mode is so predictable and such a boring grind

2 gaming console generations and 10 years later, it's insane the graphics are not much worse than UFC 4 and everything else was like 10x better. It's impressive how shit EA is and people still buy their games.

#1 and #17 are the biggest standouts in my opinion. My old roommate and I would set up events and just sit and watch like it was on tv while we ate dinner because the presentation was so amazing. All sports games could learn a thing or two from Undisputed.

Also, in character creation, tattoo's were free placement, their were body sliders for height and body and Bruce Buffer would actually announce your name and nickname, not just your nickname.
