I started playing last night, and I was really surprised. I tried to push my first gun fight, and was mowed down so fast. I tried that for a few more rounds, and almost just gave up. I changed it up, and started to play more like the beginning of this video, and had a totally different experience. It is really rewarding to move slow, and play close attention. I had a couple of funny moments where my situational awareness was just turned off for a split second, and I payed for it. Even went as far as getting an airdrop, and trying to bait people to come kill me for it on my first day playing. Needless to say, some level 75 dude showed up, and ran me for my foams😄. Loving it so far, and can't wait to hop back on tonight after work.

When it comes to tactics I think your the best vigor content creator out there, I can’t really think of any other creators out there who make entire videos to demonstrate all of the different ways you can use every utility consumable, well done man, keep it up

You gave me a whole new understanding of alarm traps. After I heard those tips, I started using them and they make me feel more comfortable. I get paranoid always thinking someone is behind me, but with those alarm traps. It's like you got eyes from behind or wherever you set them

Biggest tip try not to act on impulse. Evaluate the situation as rationally as you can. Nothing worse than acting over aggressive when the enemy most likely will push you.

Thanks for this video, I used to play vigor a couple years ago very avidly… I got so good at the game and my shelter was upgraded to the point where all I did was play online just to try and wipe the whole match and then get the airdrop. Bunch of new updates came out and I went from the dude who would become a threat and get the airdrop every game to getting smoked in the beginning of every match I play to where I will get so frustrated I will just turn off my console lmao. I became very upset because it was one of the few games I always ENJOYED playing. I got so excited to hear about all the new content vigor has gotten but I can’t seem to get my skill back in the game, after watching this video I am going to use your tips and try getting back into it because I dearly miss playing, it became one of my favorite games when I used to play.

I’ve just been using the comm station to relocate to me then camping in a room with one entry and exit and laying on a desk toilet or dresser snag the drop and ran for my life

I agree with "weedwacking" (spraying brush) but not unless you actually see movement or had some kind of engagement. The last thing I want to do is make a ton of noise if I dont have to. I'd rather have caffeine and iodine on me and wait out that drop box. As soon as the radiation hits, they'll go running for it. Patience. Love your videos. Good stuff.

I underrated alarm traps! This video is the first time I've seen them used efficiently and has made me rethink my approach and load out recently.

You know what I’m not going to deconstruct those alarm traps and painkillers and start using them and worry less about armour plates which take me 24 minutes to just build one.

Very good presentation my dude. You are easy to learn from and i appreciate the video. I'm new to vigor. I just got done playing Star Wars battlefront 2 for months non stop and wanted a change up. I will admit im a total idiot in vigor, running around spooked or just trying to get somewhere i never seem to live long or have any good games. Feels like im missing something sometimes. Great tips 👌 Just started playing and I mostly go in with no gear and just stealth my way around and do basic loot runs (basically anything I can get my hands on except air drops) but I'm wanting to try my hand at getting an air drop but I'm trying to get myself prepared for firefights first. I like doing jank stuff to escape from armed players like using the greeting taunt and switching positions to confuse them.

I also have a tip. Be aware of contact bombs! Especially at objectives and exits.. For contact bomb users, place at objectives or exits:) If used at an exit, a player may assume it's safe to exit if they hear no crow If trying to exit, double check the floor make sure it's okay.

Love having a the la chiave shotty for coming around corners. That and my vss ouuu baby! Oh and the PSS is an unreal pistol IMO one week in and loving the game. Even used the wave emote to make a friendly from a random he gave me a mil grade weapon and we left together.

One time I was heading to the comm station and I heard a guy so I hid in some underbrush, starter like clothing. And somehow that guy did not see me like I was hiding at the base of a tree that had it's branches hanging low

the only problem xD : That fany tools are not so often in your base. i have only 2 alrlarmtraps, no granates and 1 signaldefoser. and i play that game vor 20 days. it migt be cool, if you have the blueprint of that things, ore you have many many bullets to wast in trees. im not have that :) also shooting in trees spot you. :) maby its work, but i think, its your special stile of taktik, that make it work vor you. i take many kills by only looking and listening. i go out only whif 1 automatik gun, and 2 healingthings. that it. al other spechial stuff i take from looting, or other people :D Painkiller are grade! thats so true ^-^

*Great minds think alike!* Before I got the Ports plan I always used (& still do) Alarm Traps for flanks. They work great for decoys too. If you wanna flush someone out set it off, they’ll come. It’s great for sniping. Contact Bombs work good for flanks/being pushed too btw. If they are gonna push you out one down & when it goes boom *FINISH THEM!* great content as always, Bro. I have been playing this for 2 years now and not getting many kills in any mode and since I recently found this video it has really helped me get some good kills as I would usually rush the enemy when I didn't have to

I prefer fast hit and run encounters. I jump in loot the first area and run to the nearest exit. In and out in 3 minutes, I don't even bring a gun 😅

I tried this game a few days ago and every time I played people were following me and my friend but I cant see too well but also dont know how well the hiding in bushes thing is on the game so they were likely just being super patient. I havent played enough to get the drop on someone yet.

Idk how you can aim that way, I play 3rd person but when I aim I focus on em cause if not I can’t hit shit. I like the Thompson a lot but I need to learn trigger control and how to use less ammo, making the most of my shots. I’m a new player and when I get close combat I spray and try too much to kill and that fucks me alot by missing all my shots. If I focus and just spray more precise I’ll use less ammo and waste less time . But yeah impressive how hood you are with this style of shooting.

I've been boost baiting a lot for drop. I'll boost once and another team will max boost thinking they will get it.. Little do they know I come prepared with transmitters alarm traps and a jammer .. it's hilarious the outcomes are different each time but I always get the drop.

I have had my best kills randomly bush whacking! I have flushed many out, it's the way I play and why I take at least 240 rounds and run out in two minutes without actually seeing anyone!

How did you get your L85 sights to look like that?

I like vigor but the weapon inaccuracy gets pretty unrealistic. I uninstalled earlier when i spent a long time sneaking up on someone till i was 10 or so feet away, and when i actually fired right at him my bullets made a comedic outline of him with no hits.

Am I playing too defensively? I avoid shooting at all cost to avoid drawing other players to me.

I usually land with no guns and just go ham with what I can find

There's no manual to be alive against them, 0.88 KD and have killed top 1, 3, 6 and others on top of 'kills caused' and some of 'kills per encounter' top players many times, they are just bad as one of us, they just play a lot.
