Don't forget that PSY was the last one given this award back in 2013, after that, they stopped giving this award because no one is 'worthy' enough, but now BTS brought it back! I'm so proud!! 😀

You know you're a legend when award ceremony makes special VCR for the winner. No nominations, no voting whatsoever. Usually award ceremonies do this for "lifetime achievements" for living legends or to pay tribute for successful artist who had passed. And also Melon brought back this category because they know BTS deserve it. No one tell them to give it to BTS or to even bring it back after Psy won in 2013.

All the American shows, Say they are the best in the world. This was big, it put them on the map. After this award BTS was on there way and no stoping them. Korea didn’t start to take notice of BTS until the US did. After this Exo winning Artist of the year didn’t seem to be the highlight, When the Global Artist sitting right next you. BTS

I remember PSY is the only one who got this award. That gives me thinking who will be the next person to get their hands on this awards. 2017: BTS rise and took the awards. So proud of them.
