Midbeans you are really misreading the early game here - he’s not “lucky his topside is still up.” He knew lillia started topside so he moved to her bot side to prevent the disaster of coming to his blue side to find it gone. Now he walked across the map “for nothing”, but he gets to go clear blue side while lillia has tempo advantage. Sounds bad, except he already “took a turn” spending his time getting bot ahead. So if lillia spends this time making a successful play, the two junglers are even-impact at worst.

though the same. like wtf hes not lucky. he made a exelent decision by goin to her blue, cause even if she wouldvbe taken it like she did he still knows his are still up. So it was just important to move to her side cause otherwise he couldve been fucd when she wouldve taken his blue. He just had bad luck she didnt stole his so he lost his Tempo.

either: - to be having more tempo: more impact in the same time (more camps, ganks, objectives over enemy jungler) - to play tempo/make a tempo play: to keep up pressure on the enemy team when you have it. F.e.: After your team kills an opponent, you have more people on the map. So you should try to leverage this situation by going somewhere to force a 2v1,3v2,... fight or threaten a fight and take an objective for free. So the heca doing camps after baron is the opposite of tempo. He is wasting a current advantage, namely being able to siege with baron buff, to farm his own camps, which does not pressure the opponent at all.

It's about the timing and grubs. He is now behind in tempo, and knows he recalls before grub spawns anyway. This way he wastes less time on blue until he gets a buy in, and will have blue at a more meaningful time in the game, being level 5.

@@whateveryoucallit2554 no that's not why taking your lesser camps first is almost always better as they will respawn sooner and you can accelerate with more farm. He wanted to take grubs + invade if he took blue he wouldn't have tempo to do it. He is not "saving" blue for later. it's inefficient to take blue at that moment since there are better options available that are less safe such as grubs and invade, so you do the less safe options first while lillia is botside

As I said, hes saving blue for when hes stronger and it wil ltake less time to kill it, while making use of the time he has before grubs spawn, as to get there as strong as possible. what it has nothing to do with, is the "less safe" option. lol.
