When do the screws go back in? I was wondering if there's a robust connection to the source terminal of the FETs other than mechanically through the tab connected to the chassis?

Tuned that would run in class C , but you have to run class A to get wideband untuned power. Guess power consumption is as close to constant irrspective of output power, just runs cooler slightly at full load as 30W goes out the antenna instead of into the heatsink.

So can it be modified for efficiency.. a current controller instead of constant current at class A. Such a current controller was used designed by Douglass self.. but it was for audio... Opamp for few ghz hmmm...

Yep, I was wondering if IG had a two channel PSU. If so, he might gang them together to get the needed current...

it's all RF, you are thinking of HF (high freq) VHF UHF "Radio frequency (RF) is a measurement of the oscillation rate of electromagnetic radiation, or radio waves, from 9 kilohertz (kHz) to 300 gigahertz (GHz). RF is measured in hertz (Hz), which is the number of cycles per second a radio wave transmits."
