There was a lot to show in this video so I struggled to keep it under 20 minutes but I hope the cinematic music and the editing makes it feel not so long!

Indeed! The struggle is moving quickly to get to spots in time while stopping to enjoy being IN IT!! Even just looking up while hiking is challenging as you need to keep your head down on trail to not TRIP!!

I know I'd slip on that downhill especially with the leaves. 😁 Creek looks dry this time. Nice one. 👍

Hey thanks Jason!! 🤜🤛 Ya i almost bit it on camera! That would of been hilarious to catch! Ya pretty much the only thing NOT dry was the Ohio River!!

Yes i am finally understanding my needs for water while on trail. It's about 1 liter every four miles on average! Oh man we were so happy to see the campgrounds!! Thanks for watching Nicole!! 😁

Haha thanks Tony! Hey can i ask you your opinion? If i do the third episode as a premier should i do it at 8 am when they usually go live or do it in the evening at 8 or so when people are more likely to be awake?

@DMSAdventures I would say evening for sure. You could even do a live leading up to it. To grow some hype. Personally not had much luck with the premier thing. But always fun when a few people show up. Depends mostly on how people normally view. I usually watch youtube on a tv. So no option to join in the chat unless I use a computer or a phone.

@ambohouse Ya i haven't had luck with it either... I've only done it twice. The one with the award show wasn't too bad! A live stream up to the premier would be interesting. Talk about our takeaways, issues on trail etc.

Go for it Tonya! It was definitely a challenge for us! It's crazy to me Mister can have half of the leg length and still keep up!! He's awesome!

I know right! I finally found his limit though on the 19th Ever Backpacking Endeavor. It'll be a little while before that one comes out though!

Spot on beginning with the music! If it was bad weather the shelter would be amazing! Yes, please don’t die! Rocky Mountain siblings are not stopping, love the signal system! Glad you made it and didn’t die 😂!

Thank you!! Ya i would be so tempted to sleep in there but then there is no protection from bugs or critters! Nope, they are beasts... they just don't realize it! Haha well... the hike isn't over yet! There is still part 3!

For that headache some electrolyte powder to your water might help as well. Well done, faithful hikers.

Ya, i need to find something that doesn't have any flavor. Most flavors have overpowering flavors that i don't like. They have electrlyte tablets i could probably take instead.

I love the music. This video is definitely next level. I’m not sure what it is but I’ve gotten to the point where Ibuprofen is a bed time must. I always get a headache.

Thanks Bill i really appreciate it. I really labored over the music in this series. I felt a... duty to do the music justice in all 3 of these videos! I finally figured out i need 1 liter per 4 miles ish or i WILL get a headache.

Felt like I was watching a movie with that intro. I usually work with 45 min of raw footage for our 6-8 min videos. How much raw video do you work with? Seems like a lot. Love the edits. Couldn’t imagine living in that homestead. Oh wow didn’t realize it was mid Nov. Seemed like a summer video. Those drop off is a life saver! Keep on barking 😂

Oh my Carl!! I've never added all the clips up. I'm sure it's much more than 45 min. This trip was essentially 3 days of filming. At least an hour per day. I use most clips i take but usually only a small fraction of each clip. Especially during music montages! Haha the bark idea came from his stuffed puppies 🐶 Its so high pitched it travels through the forest well! 😄
