Sunday is the day I get to spend with Mrs P every week, over in Oxford. this Sunday she has found something rather special for us to do.
Nothing to do with farming at all, but everything to do with life....

Hello Farmer P😊...WOW !! I have been in many museums in my lifetime, but this one is amazing. One would need many visits to see everything on display. Great camera work, Farmer P. 👌👍. Very interesting and excellent exhibits. Thank goodness for museums. History seems to have faded from school curriculums. Such a pity. Mrs P is looking very well. Love her nails 💅stunning colour. Mrs P has beautiful hands, Farmer P. She could make a lot of pocket money modeling jewelry. Hopefully not long now before she is back home for good 👍🤗. Super video, Farmer P and thanks to Mrs P for suggesting the museum visit . It was a great idea ,👏👏. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip back in history ❤. I must say that is the most impressive museums I have ever seen. Very shocking that it is free admission. Almost looks as if you would need 3-4 full days to really see every thing.

First I am 'Taken' with the architecture of the building. Second is the frustration of wanting to see so much and its all over the place. More and More and More. This is obviously a well established museum. Returning often for a year is required. Was this structure originally a cathedral? The museum has to be a secondary use. Tremendous investment. Thank you for taking us along.

You actually visited 2 museums the front part where the Dinosaurs are is the Natural History museum the bit behind where you went down the steps is the Pitt Rivers museum, a little odd but that is Oxford for you. Not sure that it is still there but there was a collection of shrunken skulls in the Pitt Rivers that used to fascinate my eldest daughter. The University Science museum which is not that far away from the where you were on Broad Street might also be worth a visit.

They've removed all the human remains from display now. It's no longer regarded as respectful to show them in a museum.

That was a very informative visit to Pitt Rivers museum. I thank you. Once again you have shown me something local to my home which I am unable to visit due to my being mobility chair bound. I dont think Id get round all those tight corners and stairs!
