Forrest Gump. The scene where he’s standing over Jenny’s grave and talks to her about how Forrest Jr. is doing and the way his voice cracks when he says “he’s so smart, Jenny.” Gets me every time.

‘The Boy in the Striped Pajamas’ is one that made me sob uncontrollably. Not just a few tears like so many other films mentioned in this video, but really cry out loud. I still think Vera Farmiga is criminally underrated.

Schindler's List. By far. That scene at the end when Liam says "I could have done more" gets me every single time.

“The Pianist” - this movie had me sobbing several times and I actually had to take a break and pause the movie because it was so heartbreaking

Everytime watching the opening sequence of UP, without fail I cannot help but bawl my eyes out everytime.

Was completely surprised when I watch the movie Click, with Adam Sandler, that one caught me off guard, I couldn't stop bawling.

Interstellar. That movie has a few different scenes that really tug at your heart strings. First moment where Matthew Mcconaughey's character is leaving earth to save it and his young daughter who he holds a close connection to feels like her dad is abandoning her and won't say goodbye to him. When Mcconaughey's character encounters a massive time difference when he is in outer space and he finally gets a message log from his kids; who are now all grown up and are older than he was when he left earth. And lastly, who could forget that scene where Mcconaughey becomes stuck in another dimension that is made up of past memories of his life. And it cuts back to that first sad scene in the movie where his daughter won't say goodbye to him and Mcconaughey starts screaming trying to talk to his daughter through this other dimension "Don't let me leave Murph!" How gut wrenching 😥 Then he finally arrives back to earth like 80 years later to find that his daughter is still alive but an old frail woman who insisted on being in cryo sleep because she knew her dad would eventually come home... Then I think something along these lines were spoken by him to his daughter, "No parent should have to bury their child".... That hits the hardest

As a kid mine was Bridge to Teribithia, i cried both reading the book and seeing the movie. more recently Blue Valentine, it was recommended to me by a cute boy and i ended up in tears at 2 am watching it on netflix

"In the name of the father" also gets me. The fact that was a true story and it was so cruel and unfair and took and changed the life of this family, also Daniel D. L. performance was heartrending.

Mine was this movie called "a little princess" with a young Liam Cunningham (sir davos from game of thrones). The scene where he remembers his daughter and they're like crying in the rain, DAYUM THAT GOT ME.

For me it was Hachi: A dog’s tale. Oh when that dog died 🐕. I cried for months and named my dog Hachi.

The final scene at Coco. Absolute waterworks.

Titanic and Atonement for me. I cry for an hour with each of them.

Bridge to Terabithia and Never Let Me Go slay me every single time, and I think I cry harder every time I watch them

Brave. The connection Merida develops with her mother, and near the end when she thought she lost her mom forever, and hugs her tight telling her how much she loves her. Being that close to my mother myself, that scene always wracks me with sobs.

Titanic hands down, when Leo froze to death and Rose lets him go and he starts to sink in that water omgg I’m bout to cry just typing this 😢 lol

I was 10 years old when I saw A.I and the moment when his 'adoptive' mother leaves him alone, and then in the end when he wishes to spend just 1 day with her, I remember that I cried and I liked very much that movie.

The Pursuit of Happyness made me cry, and when I was younger, I cried when Tom Hanks lost Wilson in Castaway. XD

The most recent movie that made me cry was Inside Out. Two scenes for instance: where Joy cries in the memory dump while looking at the core memories. The big scene that got me more was when Riley returns to her house when Sadness takes over the core memories. I started crying when Riley cried about missing her old life and her parents comforting her. Very well directed and emotionally engaging.

Peter Jackson's King Kong. When Kong fell off the Empire State Building and the music and the woman's vocals came up, I started crying so hard.

oh gosh, Call Me By Your Name. I couldn't stop crying at the end scene when Timmy was crying by the fireplace. I was deeply sad for over a week.

The Fox and the Hound. Still.

The end of Lion had me bawling, even my dad who doesn't cry at anything was crying. It's the only movie that I cried about driving back from the cinema. Also the Japanese animated film Koe no Katachi (A Silent Voice) had me crying my eyes out for a solid 2/3 of the movie. Both great films, both on Netflix, go check them out

The Iron Giant and Saving Private Ryan make me cry every time I watch them.

Was expecting one of 'em to say I Am Sam. I remember watching that movie when I was 12,and man it was heartwrenching.

Life is Beautiful! Such a beautiful and sad movie. I feel that everyone must watch this movie at least once in their life.

I think.......Grave of the fireflies was one of the most heartbreaking movies of all time for.

I cry at so many films, I can't even keep track anymore! I'm like Javier Bardem in that way. What I do know is the film that I cry the hardest and the most at: Blood Diamond. That film with Leonardo Dicaprio was so riveting, so powerful and so very bittersweet. I loved it so much. I've seen it four times now and every time, like clock work, I full-on sob at like 4 different parts in the film. HE SHOULD'VE WON THE OSCAR FOR THAT PERFORMANCE!

Grave Of the fireflies. I never cried like that in a movie,that’s the beauty of the movie,you get attached to the two kids And I’ve watched in Japanese(as you should),the laughter of the little girl at the beginning contrasting with what they went through and that ending.... It’s the best movie I ever saw

Of the more recent movies, Manchester by the Sea really got to me. Casey Affleck's performance was about as close to perfect as you can get. Also, Silver Linings Playbook makes me cry, but in a good way. David O'Russell and the cast knocked that one out of the park.

For me the movie that made me cry the hardest was The Elephant Man. I don't think I'll be able to watch it again for awhile. It had a very deep affect on me. I really love that movie though. David Lynch is an awesome filmmaker!

Inside Out - the scene where Sadness takes control near the end of the movie. As someone who finds it difficult to express her emotions and/or often hides them, I found it very relatable. Also, when both Sadness and Joy create a new memory together. That was definitely a happy cry. It showed growth and maturity in that character, which I thought was a lovely moment.

For me, it had to be *Stand by Me* 😭

The ending of Empire of The Sun. Christian Bales character went through so much and for him to almost not remember what his mother looked like and the only way he could remember was the different parts of her. Her hair, her lips. Then he finally hugs her and can finally close his eyes. All that combined with the music, damn dude, I'm not crying your crying.

Toss up between the scenes in ET: The Extra Terrestrial ... 1) When you think ET is dying and 2) When Elliot has to say goodbye to ET.

1. Sophie's Choice - in the end, when she has to choose between two little children... so tragic and desperate, you must have no heart if you're able to keep it together. 2. City Island - the scene towards the end when they are all together and the truth comes out, and they accept each other, very touching 3. Good Will Hunting - 'it's not your fault', don't know why but gets me every time.

It has to be My Sister's Keeper for me. I cry a lot while watching movies but usually it's just one particular scene that makes me sad but this movie made me cry from the begining till the end.

Recently it was Lion. That movie made me ugly cry. When he got separated from his brother. When you realise how many homeless children in India are being abused. When he reunites with his birth mother. I cant even. So sad.

Cast away When Wilson got separated from Tom hanks. I was like 7, and literally bawling like crazy.
