Australia's Torrie Lewis ran 22.96s (-0.4) to beat 2023 200m world championship bronze medalist Richardson, who was 2nd in 22.99s, in the 200m at the Xiamen Diamond League.

Why are people so negative! Who cares if Sha’Carri slowed down. Torrie is 19, it’s her first time in the diamond league and she won the 200m in an outstanding field. Just say congrats and move on! No need to try and pull her down. Congrats Torrie 🫶🏻
