Nah they then are flown to chile and they have to drive north eventually going into america and then they go to the east ending off where they started, New York. That is a fucking movie there. Well, you can't drive through the Darien Gap from South America into North America. Whether any other part of your route is equally impassable, I don't know. Maybe let it end in Paris like the original, or perhaps London by carrying the cars through the Chunnel.

Not the same but similar is the Mongol Rally, London to Mongolia.. Nothing says you need to stop there however and the road of bones in far Eastern Russia is drivable.. The major ball ache is getting to Alaska, Charley Boorman and Ewan MacGregor did it in the Long way round if you want a easy to find film of such a journey but with lots and lots of cash.... Doing it in 1908 with bugger all roads is almost unthinkable..
