4 жыл бұрынWe just finished this incredible piano! It took close to a year to rebuild this piano, and it was rebuilt to a high degree of precision and accuracy.
If you are not familiar with Mason and Hamlin, these pianos are world class instruments built in a golden age of piano making-quality was of the utmost concern at the time this piano was built.
Cosmetically, we have gone through and refinished this piano - the veneer is beautiful. The old time hinges, the original pedals and casters have been polished. The decal is not original, but it is a replica of what was there originally. The ivory keys have been replaced with new modern keys. The soundboard - which is like the heart, or tonal center - is original. The piano has been restrung with brand new strings, new felt, and new screws. The action has been replaced.

Just GORGEOUS in sight and sound! I hope to find such a M&H to replace our 1924 Model A someday. It was amazing for 70+ years. Simply the best. ❤

I have a Mason and Hamlin and completely agree. When, play it, I become one with the piano. I kind of get lost in the music when play it.

Yeah, we own a Mason & Hamlin CC (9ft 4. 2022 model), it's AWESOME! OH, by the way, WW I didn't start until July 1914 if I remembered correctly :).

I love the tone to this piano. It was a little on the bright side but overall it sounded pretty good.

It can be voiced different and also the room and mic has a lot to do with what you are hearing. It was filmed on a cell phone.

Mason & Hamlin was always a top tier piano but they didn’t go after the artist trade. They were too busy producing wonderful pianos for conservatories and music studios. You need a professional pianist to demonstrate your excellent instruments. Playing the mid range only doesn’t cut it for someone seriously interested in pianos of the quality you sell. I might make it up to your store someday. You have very interesting pianos that would be a pleasure to play and they need playing to ripen if they have been completely rebuilt.

I own a 1926 RBB and I have the original invoice which states that this piano cost $26,900! I bought it at auction for $6,500 and $15,000 later....it was mine! I wouldn't trade my two Steinway's for this great instrument.
