I've just stumbled on your site ... within five minutes I had to remind myself to breathe!!! Sharon what you were doing there was exceptional... the flow of the resin and blend of inks was superb.. Can you tell me where to get the contact paper from everything iv seen is sticky and I couldn’t try this if it sticks to the resin. Also what can I pour the resin onto before I moulds. Thanks

I truly can’t believe that this is only your second resin sculpture! I’m so glad I stumbled upon your channel. I subscribed within two minutes of watching your artistry! This is, by far, the most gorgeous resin sculpture I have seen in a while! I love the transparency of the resin with the use of alcohol inks. It is so light and flowing, rather than heavy and clunky as other artists get with the use of opaque resin colorants. The idea of using contact paper is genius because you were able to have some stiffness to sculpt the flared edges. Beautiful. Thanks for the amazing tutorial.

Hello all, The Red Cloth I know it’s was the wrong choice to showcase the colours. I have replaced it with a white one. After I can created this video and watched it back I was like YUK but it was too late. So feedback received loud and clear on that point. Just thought you'd want to know that I use closed captioning due to my poor hearing, and every time you use your heat gun, it says, "applause". Lol. Applause indeed. You always amaze me! It reminds me of an Orchid or iris!

Judy Ortmeier, on my iPad there are settings links to the lower right of the video, and also some settings under the link for your account. I have the KZfaq app from the apple store too,so mine might be different to others. I know that if I access my account on a computer at work, the closed captioning won't stay on between videos. Hope this helps!

Judy, I just checked, and found the spot to look. It's the UPPER right corner of the video, where you see the three dots on top of each other. Click on the dots, and you will see the area to choose closed captioning. Sorry. Hope this isn't confusing you.

A medium weight shower curtain provides a great shiny plastic surface. In the US Wal-Mart is where I get mine.

I know but I work with Resin a lot so transferring the skills it a faster pace, I love throwing myself in the deep end when learning. My 3rd attempt is fun to watching, its a ocean one and i get in a mess and its all on video. I still laugh at myself when I watch it back. Thanks for watching

I never knew this type of sculpting existed and I must say I am so impressed with your creativity and choice of colours. You did an amazing job. And I think this is definitely something I would love to try to do. On the average how is the cost for all of your supplies and do you require to use a mask? I am new to sculpting myself and I didn't want it to look like a lump of plastic and solid in colour so I worked hard to keep it transparent I think it make it look more like glass and elegant. Thank you so much for watching and the positive feedback. For this I used 500ml of Resin 250 for each layer. That should help you work out the price, its hard to say a cost as resin prices can vary dramatically depending on the brand. I also have all the essential listed in my descriptions which should help you with cost if you are new to resin and setting up. Yes respirators are a must.
