Great memories of visits to an automotive museum in South Dakota around 1970, might have been Pioneer. The 1930s Cords, Packards and Studebakers stand out in my memory in particular.

In 1981, I got a phone cal from a friend; "Hey Wootie, how would you like to buy a 1937 Cord, only $3500? Me: "Naw, I'm going to buy a new Toyota Corolla". 2024, same old friend calls me, "Hey Wootie, remember when you could have bought that 1937 Cord for $3500?" Me..."god dammit".

I first saw one at the Auburn, Indiana annual Auburn, Cord, Duisenberg festival in the early 1980’s, and instantly fell in love with it! Unfortunately, it’s pricing has always been just a little out of my reach. :(

This car only going up in value, anyone the buys it today, will be able to sell it at 3x what they've paid. The paint was made with fish scales to give the paint job higher reflection in the sunlight. So leave the paint as is, just thought any potential buyers should know. So trust me, this thing is going to be 100k in the future. I won't be surprised if a Hollywood studio would purchase it for a movie car, or background car. It's beautiful 😍
