I used to work at the factory 25+ years ago until the manufacture part of it sadly went into receivership. They built a lot for the war effort & before I was there used to have a railway line right upto the factory. The factory was in a small town called Dursley in Gloucestershire I worked in the foundry then later the machine shop, they were top quality engines their marine engines were very sought after

Looks like a nice example. I have an old one in original condition, and sometimes have it running for hours on end. Excellent stuff👍 Try filling the pump with water before starting, (priming) there should be a small valve for that purpose, possibly on an expansion vessel if it has one. I reckon it won't take much to make it work in any case.

Everybody should have one! mine came from a local farm, it had been left outside for 50 years unused, the magneto was rotted in half as was the fuel tank, 10 days later with some used bits he lived again.
