Thanks Lumpster! I've learned to accept that there are all sorts of old vehicle hobbyists out there and that they fall into different camps. I'm firmly on the "drive it" side of things. I understand some cars are so rare and valuable that you really can't have them on the road, but I a) can't afford those cars, b) don't want the hassle of worrying about them even if I could. I'm the same on hot-rodding/restomods of these trucks. I think they look fantastic with their original look and stance. But others like that lowrider look, and God bless. I spent two years looking for my truck (and saving $$) because I wanted as original one as I could find. Other than the four-speed on the floor (which I'm grateful for) my F1 is pretty much the same as it rolled off the factory line, plus 72 years of authentic aging. Keep on trucking!
