Finally got the crank removed. Now to get it to the machine shop and get it turned. Hopefully I will find out how the block is and if it is worth using.

Make sure you have the machine shop check the bottom of the block/head well for cracks, they tend to crack near the petcock holes and into the water jacket (not the end of the world but easier to fix while its apart). Usually a polish is all the crank will need due to the way the poured babbit rod end wears, they tend to egg and if the journals are trued back to round then there will be excessive clearence/noise if reusing the out of round rods.

The block doesn’t have any crack and from what I was told it was good to bore out. The crank is being turned right now and I just dropped the rods off to be machines for insert bearings. Hopefully it will work out. I appreciate everyone giving me information on this and I am trying to make attempt to address any issues that is brought to my attention. Thanks again for that information.
