It is an ion from wal-mart. I think for the price ($20-$30) it isn’t bad, light weight and easy to pack around. The price may have changed some since I purchased that one.

Had my 3025d for several years. And it has done many little jobs over the years. I have alll the tires filled with fluid and wheel weights all the way around. Last time checked drive on scale, it read 8,941 lbs. So no little car haul trailer is going to carry it so easy. But with weight this little tractor can easily carry a round bale. It can also pull a small 3 bottom plow. Breaking ground a 2 bottom is doable.

I have a 3025D as well, but my manual says to change oil at 400 hours. On page 35, it only tells me to check levels and add if needed. I called the dealer and asked them, they confirmed the first oil change wasn't due until 400 hours. My tractor is now 2 years old, but it only has 50 hours on it. Maybe I need to go ahead and change it? I find it odd that my operating manual would be different from yours. I certainly didn't expect the dealer to agree with 400 hours.

With my experience with oil it should be engine hours or time. Once the oil is exposed to oxygen then it starts to degrade, the additives can deplete over time and make the oil not the same as it was originally. I would rather change it early for a cost on my end vs the oil loosing some of its properties and causing extra wear on my engine.

I still like the gear drive. I have probably done more than I should with the tractor and I don’t know that the HST would be able to do the same. If I was going to be doing mainly loader work I could see where the HST would be a plus.

Hey RSM. I have a 3025D and ordered a grapple. It will have 1/2 Ag fittings. I subscribed and learn all I can from you. I guess I'm ordering a Universal kit from Summit. I plan on getting hyd hoses built at local NAPA. I',m confused if i need fittings along with my kit. Did you take fittings from Summit kit to JD shop and they added them to your kit fittings. thats if you could help me drama.

I am wondering what the lift capacity would be without the bale on the back. I am buying a 3032E that has beet juice in the rear tires, which, of course will help.
@rsmstuff3178
@rsmstuff3178 8 ай бұрын
I have beet juice in my rear tires. The lift capacity will not change with the ballast. The loader will only lift what it can. The bale on the back is to increase stability,and give more traction on the rear tires. The front axle kind of being a pivot point. The more you have on the rear the better and if you had wheel weights that would help more.

@rsmstuff3178
@rsmstuff3178 9 ай бұрын
The only 2 things that I have had is: 1- the manual throttle pedal coming off ( I have a video on what I did to fix that) and 2- the play in the front axle bushing (there is an adjustment bolt for it) are the only problems I have had with the tractor. The only other problem was the third function valve sticking. Sometimes I would like more power, then I remember that this tractor will do really anything I need, the only thing more power gets you is to do work faster. I like just having an EGR valve for emissions. This is the KIS tractor to me (Keeping It Simple).
