The geo mould is very nice and easy to make. The heart is absolutely gorgeous, so sparkly. I love the puffy hearts as always. I’d spray shiny finish on the geode piece. I had noticed the difference right away and figured out that blue would not have the glittery look that white mould would have. 😊❤ thank you for sharing your time and talents.

That druzy heart turned out GORGEOUS!! The heart is more sparkly because it wasn't out of that blue silicone mould. That blue silicone doesn't produce as much shine as the white mould does.

I just love the way all of them turned out. I've been using mold puddy lately to make molds but haven't made a crystal mold like yours. I especially like the druzy heart 💜 Can't wait to see what your next video will be .

Your so funny! I really enjoy your videos'! I do think its the difference in the types of silicone for the difference in finishes. I wonder if spraying the duller piece with lacquer would work on resin something interesting to see. Just love the new mold piece as well! I think your so creative and fun thanks for being my special place to go to relax and enjoy!

Julie, the dark layer should be at the top of the mold and the light color at the bottom, then you would get more shine. It would be best to pour the lighter layer first and then the darker one. I hope that the second time you will get the effect of a glowing crystal, just like in the heart. Regards :-)

Tip from watching Glitz ‘n Glitter: to stop glitter from sinking to bottom add 1 drop of clear Elmers School Glue to 10 grams resin.

32:52 you could polish the resin ‘crystals’ using a very fluffy polishing wheel to bring a shine to the resin to match the crystal version

In order to get the correct amount you could always use just one of the colors to make your mold before mixing it . That way you know exactly how much you will need of the two combined

It's a little cute funny that we can tell what colors your going to use in a resin project by what color your nails are😂. Think since I've been watching only one hasn't worked out that way. The putty did a great job catching the crystal points! But yeah would have looked a little nicer if it had the same shine your white mold give. All in all a lovely project well made!

Hey there - I just received the same Resiners degasser - good to know I need to run it more than once - please be cautious with the black cord under your desk - looks frayed - I do safety at work and noticed when you panned down to plug in the Resiners! 😊❤

It’s not as sparkly bc the putty molds always come out a little matte but u can shine up what u cast out of them with epoxy or uv resin

The heart was molded in a different silicone from the blue silicone.

I do think it’s the grade of silicone you’ve used. Try again with the white type!

Can you add the color before you stir it for your 4 minutes? Instead of stirring, then put in the debugger n then put the color in...just wondering

Maybe it's because the silicone clay isn't 1000% on the crystal. Kneading and shaping causes it to lift slightly from the surface, creating a layer of air there. When it hardens, the silicone loses its surface shine. as I said, just an idea why it doesn't shine as much.🫣 But your creations are stunning 😍

Julie of course you know why one is not shiny. Because you put it in a mold without a shiny finish. You said it before. If you put it in a mold that has a matte finish you're going to get a mat product but if you put it in a mold with a finish you're going to get a glossy finish. Are you okay I think you're working too hard you need to take a break let that husband of yours take care of you😊

Brain fog is doing the rounds. I couldn't remember getting my change from a purchase I made... I had to visualise putting my change in my wallet. Once I reconnected with that... then I was sure I would have two ten pound notes and not one.. yes!!! That tells me to be more aware at the time of purchase. I made a resin skull... and got the ratio wrong... it won't happen again lol
