I have a 25 evinrude that jumps out of gear when under a load. I found new gears ⚙️ but for the forward and reverse and clutch dog and a couple of other small parts it was gonna be right at $700 dollars. I only paid $450 for the boat and motor so I’m gonna try to fix the gears ⚙️ I won’t be out any thing if it doesn’t work. But I like this motor because it has a electric start. No rope pulling. Although it will start with the rope if needed.
