Per Einarsson www.ultimostile.com/my-blog/20... Follow the little Alfa Romeo Giulietta cars fighting for an Alpine Cup - with Triumph, Porsche, Citroën and Mercedes opposition, among others. It's amazing how the little italian cars can run for so long a such elevated revs.

My dad Frank at 12:03, 14:11, 22:49, 24:59 in his Austin #412. Ripping off the rear door skin. My mum Lola was driving the brown Rapier #301 at 22:45, 23:22. At 26:25 clocking in is her co-driver Mary Handley-Page

@@peterbonnez Thanks brother... seldom run on to anyone who is smart enough to understand puns nowadays. Kids aren't taught much anymore. One "Fawlty Towers" or Reggie Perrin have enough barbed wit and sarcasm to last a lifetime. Still, watching Monty Python, Open All Hours, etc. Remember "Upstairs Downstairs", "Danger UXB" and all those swell shows in the 70's.. "Rumpole of the Bailey" being a favorite. Yes, Happy 4th and I've got my firecrackers, Roman candles and bottle rockets at the ready for this evening's enrichment. I like your style of presentation, subbing immediately... joyously informative and entertaining.

this is amazing, it's crazy to see how these cars were actually driven unlike today everyone wants to preserve these classics in crazy good museum condition. where "Collectors" ahem I mean Investors collect them to auction them at ludicrous prices.

Stunning coverage! How I love this competition with its great cars, great drivers and of course the beautiful testing routes. The private owners must have had deep pockets to cover the expenses without sponsorship.

Hats off to these drivers. I have been lucky enough to drive on some of these roads and even in a modern car they are quite a challenge.

Great footage in a fine overview of another time. As a long time rally fan with some limited club runs that my wife and I have made, I found this film delightful.. Wish we could ever have been a part of such an international event. Love Pat Moss.. amazingly consistant and determined.

Stupendous. Great driving. Open circuit with handcarts and cafes inches away. Infinite drop offs. No guard rails. No seat belts. Great production too. Everyone here has balls and brains. Including the female drivers. Never to happen again in the near future. Riveting stuff. Thank you !!

The 1958 Alfa cars look like modern cars, the others, outside the Citroen DS, seem to come out of a museum. Road holding of the others: an optional. Impressive, in this regard, the comparison in the city tour on asphalt before the film of the award ceremony.

I did not know that Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Zagato raced in 1958. I always thought that they were produced in 1959. I have been driving Giulietta cars since 1968 and never saw a rally until today.

Amazing how these cars were performing back in their times. Plus compared to the current rally cars these did not have any electronic devices or hydraulic steering wheel. Just amazing. Are there any other racing films like this one?

That guy in the Bugeye (Frogeye) was really hauling ass ! Really flying, considering he's only got 49 horsepower (maybe a little more if the engine was adjusted . The Healeys flew beautifully .

Hermosa época hermosos autos había mucha diferencia de unos autos a otros y también entre los pilotos mucha mezcla excelentes buenos y los que solamente sabían llevar un auto. Pero muy amateur y maravillosa epoca
