A wealth of info pulled from that axe, mate. Well done! I'm yet to be convinced there's any magic there beyond certain players lusting for them. Play a bloody Squier like your life depends on it! But maybe replace the pickups (LOL!).

I agree. I’ve never been super excited about a vintage guitar as something amazing or better than what’s new. The significance for me is holding a piece of musical history and appreciating the origins. Beyond that, there’s no magic to them. Some are great, some are average and some are lumps. 👍

Thank you. It was really interesting listening back while I spliced the video together. The Strat had an acoustic guitar-like ring that I was not hearing while playing. I think mine sound pretty good, hold their own for sure. They sounded hotter in the room playing. Thanks for the comments 👍

Is the 2 tone maple neck the original, or your pickups?

Sunburst is the original 1958 Strat, Burgandy Mist with rosewood board is the MIM with my pickups.
