I always loved the two slanted trapezoids in the frets look in Gibsons, and Steve Howe playing them lol. The ES-345 is sweet! I have to save up my pennies.

Wowwy Michael; that's some fine playing!! I heard the Jefferson Airplane, then Nugent and then raw Moody Blues. Those PAF pickups are on a plain of their own.

In the mid sixties here in Michigan this was Dick Wagner's instrument of choice. All of us beginners would sit down front and marvel at his expertise at pulling incredibly different tones from that guitar. He was particularly adept at getting an acoustic guitar sound, very much like a gut string out of the 345. He would switch from pick to fingers and just tickle the guitar superbly. He would nearly sneer down at us, 'you'll never play like this you brats' sort of thing. When he started buying West Lab amps those big powerful, clean amps only made his excellence louder and clearer. When he would come in the shop to test circuits the playing was off the charts. Of course off stage he was really nice guy doing songwriting seminars and things. Backstage with the Frost band they would warm up before going out singing Beatles harmonies, tuning ears and voices. He was a great bandleader, a great songsmith and a bit of a rascal. A great guitar talent, this was his early great ax.

The First song I thought no lemmo isnt going to play the Mario Brothers Game Theme tee hee ,Norm you made my day with the humor good to see you healthy ,Very nice playing Michael and that guitar sounds amazing wish to have it !!! nope no one will buy me a early BDay present ,in a few years ill be able to buy one just like that hopefully with a huge discount lol

Hello. Born. You look very well. Happy to see. The day after Carlos Santana ass went down to Orange County to pick up his mesa boogie. I came over to Reseda. You had five guitars for sale that moment you sold me a I believe was a 57 gold top Les Paul that had a repaired snap map I still wish I had that guitar. I’ve been through so many through the years. Thanks for sharing videos it is so good to see you looking so much better and healthier. Take care.

Great skill from Michael 345s amazing guitar the varitone is an added feature but a bit of an overspec in my opinion. They are phenomenal as they are. Thanks 4 my daily gotd fix Mr lemmo.

I am glad to see the varitone get some respect. You usually hear the old joke (position 1 sounds like B.B. King and the others sound like shit). But tones are only sounds and sounds are not inherently good or bad. It all depends on how when and where you use them I for one think that the more sounds your instrument can produce the better. 335's are known for the diversity of sounds they can produce and the 345 only adds to that. The varitone is actually just a bunch of capacitors that scoop out certain frequencies just like the dark circuit on the early tele. The first position does not have a capacitor so it is just the pickup alone. Oh and as always Mike sounds great. I really liked that first tune.

Lemmings jump off cliffs and kill themselves. Lemmo goes over the edge and kills his audience. Norm does not not want to lose this kid, like he's lost others! He used to tease him constantly and now just compliments and thanks him. Norm , you can't keep your age, or your edge, but you can keep Lemmo . Just be nice to him and pay him well.
