Excellent Robert! Good luck with finding help, it’s the most difficult part of the industry but yours should intrigue the artist in the metal worker since what you do is metal art in my opinion. So young skilled person, go apply for this position and learn from a skilled tradesman and guess what, no college tuition debt and you’ll have a lifetime skill set that can allow you to earn a respectable living doing a job that you can take pride in.

Love the videos especially the Impala stuff! For the driver side quarter install did you find the part that supports the gas filler tube visible when the gas door is opened? It's a little sheet metal box kind of a deal. As far as I know that part has not been reproduced so you have to go with a used one. Just wondering how you plan to tackle that. Love your work!!!

@@guzzifabrication3448 For my '62 Bel Air my body work friend and I were able to salvage the original gas tube support box which was lucky. Making it from scratch to look original looks to be above our pay grade due to the curvature and overall shaping required for an OEM look. Love your work!

Does the replacement quarter take care of rust where it attaches to the roof. I just picked mine up today and there is rust there and they aren't attached and kind of flimsy in that area

Paint sticks for door gaps all around so all is the same, and wood want scratch.
