Hold onto your surfboards and beach umbrellas, because we’re diving headfirst into a restoration project that’s sure to turn heads! We’re thrilled to announce that a stunning 1963 Buick LeSabre Station Wagon mild restomod is rolling into the V8 Speed and Resto Shop for a complete exterior refresh.
These 1960s wagons are the epitome of cool, offering spacious comfort and timeless style. But let’s be honest, even the coolest classics need some love after years on the road. This beauty is no exception, and we’re excited to bring its original shine back to life.
Only 5,566 of these 2-seat wagons were sold new, so they were not a common sight back then. This one is equipped with factory air conditioning and tilt wheel, and has been upgraded with power disc brakes, bucket seats, console, cruise control, tinted glass and US Mags wheels. The Dynaflow transmission is fluid drive and could be considered a fore runner of today's CVT transmissions.
The plan? A meticulous repaint in its factory-fresh color will be the star of the show. But that’s not all! We’ll also be meticulously restoring the trim, ensuring every detail gleams like new. We have a few other surprises up our sleeves, but let’s just say this iconic wagon will be ready to cruise in style once again.

I really miss Station Wagons. Had so much fun growing up with Station Wagons. A "57 Dodge Wagon with a Hemi that was raced after my dad sold it and got a new one. Really nice wagon as it is. Maybe the owner will re-consider keeping the luggage rack or find a way to keep the mounting holes in case he changes his mind. Yesterdays Wagons are today's Pickups. Can't wait to see more on this great vehicle.

Oldie but goodie! Dad had a 66 LaSabre. Hard to believe some of todays Buicks are literally made in China.

Love to have it. Prefer the Safari, but this car is very nice. Like the minor changes they made, updated ac, cruise, fuel injection, while leaving the nailhead in place. Very cool.

It's crazy how cheap American cars from times past were built: the engine is completely exposed underneath, with no shielding whatsoever! American car manufacturers were always cutting costs in the wrong places... Also it's a shame that this cool wagon is an automatic.
