Had the finest 1961 190 sl in the country back in late 80s. a real gem white. brown leather interior. My father bought the car for $5,500 dollars from a serviceman who had brought it home. I restored the car and had it painted white. One year we drove that car from Detroit Mi. to Tucson Az. in a day and a half. 90 mph was the lowest speed on the freeway that we did. We were hauling ass and taking names what a super vehicle. One of the biggest mistakes I ever made was selling that vehicle.

Taking on a job like this is enormous; thanks for the photos along the way! How many years, and hours were spent? Having maintained a 1961 190b for many years these parts are very familiar. I feel your pain from this wonderful pictorial. More power to ya, GREAT job!

Clickbaiting! Thumbs down because the video is not complete! ~ 25% missing at the end! No final result, no presentation, no engine/gearbox stuff and and and! Why? You did such an amazing good restoration- job. So it's simply wasted time to watch it!
