A friend of mine had a 64 1/2 ranchero w/289 that was eating big blocks for lunch in the 1/4 mile .

Nice little car. Keep in mind that the '64 Mustang was a rebodied Falcon, so early Mustang upgrade parts will all fit.

How's the project coming along? I've put granada drop spindles on my Futura too. Same set up for me, 289 manual steering from a 6 cyl. Does the v8 conversion from a 6cyl require different wiring? I was curious to see what fuel pump/lines he went with also. Heck of a project converting!
