Hi Guys, Mike Bradford here, I spent quite a few miles in the pass. seat of this old horse, my dad was the driver. Cool to see it move and thanks for the historic mention at the end, I will forward this to my dad. By the way he turned in his CDL this summer at the age of 82. Tough event, but he did it with pride and holding his head high of his career. Looking forward to seeing the progress of this build...Keep in touch, best wishes.....

I have fond memories of driving the 1960 version of this truck in 1968. I was hauling bulk cement for Schwerman Trucking Company out of their (former) Oglesby, Illinois terminal.

I can never see enough of these ol work horses, the things they’ve seen. Save them all, they are becoming rarer by the day.

Thanks for sharing this. Back when trucks were trucks built to work. Nice twist that you got some history on it also. I'm sure the guy who drove it back in the day is happy to see it's still around and I'm sure it's brought back some memories for him

In the 60s...we converted what they called a C E C... Cummins Engine Compressor.... shut the fuel off to 4 cylinder and run on 2...4 were used to run a air motor hooked to a asphalt pump... to unload the trailer... LoL

From the garage to the trucks it looks like your working in a shop in the 60s. Wish I could go back to those days.

Happy New Year! 🥳 Love to see the old rigs coming back to life again! 🤩 Is that the Mustang engine in that truck? 🧐 I own a 1951 REO that I pulled out of the field so I could save it. The history of a truck is always cool and appreciated! 🥰 I haven’t seen your first video yet, will do that soon though. Keep me coming! We always like to see all the work that goes into these fine old trucks! 🥰

First, thankyou for saving this vintage White, I'm 63 and remember the 1950's WC2264 dump trucks that were used as pit trucks back in the mid 1960's in our hometown in Michigan....that was a great gesture the guy from Maine calling you, hopefully he will send you some pictures...by the way, what happened to your needle nose Pete? Be safe, God Bless!!
