@@1940limited Yeah, wasn't Chrysler's finest era huh? Remember the Intrepids? Local to my area, when Sheriffs depts had to start replacing the entire fuel tank because one couldn't just replace the fuel pump, that was a big hit to Mopar products in local police use. 1- They all dumped the Intrepids really quickly. 2- It took a while for them to even consider the Chargers when they introduced the police package. But now, hell they all running the Ram trucks just about.

People find it so sad when cars are crushed because to people, cars are not like an object they own. It's an asset. Just like their home. They can love it, they can hate it. But it will carry so many memories. So each car that gets crushed is like memories getting crushed.

@@1940limited those cars can be saved. Or used. Or go to people who want them. Stop destroying cars that aren't made anymore. Especially vehicles pre 1995. It should be illegal to crush anything before 1980 just in my opinion though. I hate seeing cars get destroyed
@1940limited2 жыл бұрын
@@NotAGarage I understand, but if something's so far gone as to be useless, you might as well recycle what's left. Back in the early 70s a guy I knew had a huge junkyard and crushed 800 40s and 50s vintage cars. He got to keep the batteries and radiators for extra money. Talk about heart breaking watching those go through the crusher. But they sure had materials in them.
