I needed to do a little pre winter prep on a few of my vehicles and of course it didn't go as planned. The old jalopy '65 F100 had been sitting for a while and the fuel lines and carb needed repair from bad gas. Just another day in the life.

Hey there Jack! See my community tab on my channel. I left a message that I needed to do some upgrades to my PC. Anyways the Truck is running good except now the damn emergency brake is stuck. No biggie.

Thank you and thanks for checking out my videos. Yeah they are pretty cool looking trucks. This truck needs some work, minor stuff. I had it pretty ship-shape for a long while, but now I need to fix some stuff on it. I can't decide how much I want to do now vs pulling it in the garage and do some major resto-mods etc. Maybe I'll just let it sit for a while and think about it lol.

i read an article a while back regarding fuel line. i cannot for the life of me remember where i read it, but it mentioned some of the fuel lines that are made in, shall we say, less than ideal countries where QC is nonexistant. it said that some inferior lines are not compatible with our fuel / ethanol mix (even tho the seller says it is compatible) and can fail in a catastrophic way. it fails in the entire length of the line sometimes. this video reminded me of that article (it could have possibly been a video i saw instead of an article). i apologize if i've jumped ahead, but i figured this might be of some value to you or other builders. do you know the origin of the line that you bought?

Thanks for the comments. I have also read that for modern gasoline PTFE-lined fuel lines should be used. I installed the fuel line on my truck years ago. I had no idea that I should use this type of line. I just bought some AN line and slapped it in there. Live and learn.
