I never paid much attention to this year or the 1968, but now they turn my head. True luxury. Real beauties. 1967 and 1968 were great design years for not only Chrysler, but also for GM and Ford too.

Thank you for a marvelous presentation of one of my favorite automobiles. An uncle had a ‘68 Crown Coupe. As a kid I never balked at going to his home for a family gathering so that I could sit in it and dream….😊

Yes, especially when it was introduced in the mid 1950s by General Motors in their Oldsmobiles and Cadillacs. Chrysler did not have this feature until a decade later.

Gorgeous, now thats when Detroit knew how to make an true luxury car.Never again will we see Detfoit EVER put that kind of Pride in sn American vehicle.Mores the pity. Hang on to that one you might not ever find ine like that again without paying big bucks. If you do sell it, make sure that it goes to someone who has a true and real passion for a car like that almost like an family member passion. Thank you

I’ve never seen a ‘67 Imperial, especially a LeBaron, without factory air conditioning!! And not that it’s worth any more because it lacks one of the most desirable options in a luxury car. (Too bad) Looks like a good daily driver if you don’t mind no air, (A/C) and high gas consumption!

I got it up in Maine from the original owner a few years back when I was 16 for $3200! I think it’s amazing how stripped it is for a LeBaron!

I had a '67 Imperial LeBaron, in dark blue, w/ dark blue leather..... This one is in overall better shape than mine..... but I remember certain things. ..... Some parts are really difficult to get, like front disc brake rotors (which only Budd made for Imperial, only).

Beautiful looking car. Does it have Factory Air Conditioning? I’m assuming it does... but you didn’t pan down into the engine compartment for some reason, so I couldn’t see a compressor, and I don’t see a condenser or drier out front as you kept the camera high. Factory air conditioning??
@mark_osborne3 жыл бұрын
@Phonejag1 shockingly it does not have factory AC, if you scroll to 2:47 you'd be able to see the AC compressor as they sat high up on the front of the engine

Hope this doesn’t come across as rude, but would you ever sell that car? I’m from Mass as well and I sadly had to sell my ‘66 Newport last year. I’ve been looking for an imperial for a while now. Like I said, I hope this doesn’t come across as rude.

I probably won’t. I’m only 19. I bought it when I was 16 in upstate Maine for $3200 and I plan on keeping it for a long time. Where in Mass do you live? You should come by one of the car shows sometime and see it

These cars had factory resonators , a 2nd set of smaller mufflers at the rear... as well as the front-center mufflers. Because they were expensive to replace, and people usually had to buy mufflers at the same time, many 2nd, 3rd and subsequent owners chose not to replace them... and just put straight pipes out the back, but clearly... this doesn’t look right on this ultra luxury car and it is supposed to be whisper QUIET as luxury cars were intended to be.
