I absolutely love the sound of those old Mopar starters. There is nothing else like that whiny start.

I love these old cars, they have character, unlike modern cars. I recently purchased a 67 satellite to restore, its an original 383 4 speed car, but the previous owner installed a 440. Anyway great vid, thanks

Love this video. A very real look at old car life. Mice in the glove box, killed it when it was cold, rusty brakes that grab at first. I have a couple of old cars myself and that is how it is. Or worse.

Beautiful car!! It reminds me of my 67 Dodge Cornet 440. It was white 4 door with a 318. One of the best cars I ever had. It didn't sound as good as yours sounds!

You just gave me chills and goosebumps. There are alot of similarities from that car to my first car, a 1968 Plymouth Fury III 4 door sedan. 318 with a 727 auto, and 273 gears. I miss that car. Best jumping car I ever had . . . er I mean driving . . . yeah that's it, and the seat belts worked great to open beer bottles . . . I mean to keep me safe. Honest mom, don't tell dad! Hey, thanks for the awesome video! Interesting that I graduated Nashua HS in '82 and I own a '67 Satellite convertible too. My parents are on the NH coast and I take mine there every June to cruise with some Mopar buddies, be fun to meet up. Your video motivates me to upload some of mine. So far I've got just a 2min bit. Not often you see Satellite's, especially convertibles. Have fun with it!

That's a REALLY nice car, and quite refreshing to see your not scared to drive it unlike the other garage queens that get posted on youtube. "Yeah, its a hemi this or a 440 6 pak that".....BUT DO YOU DRIVE it. Keep her going and good luck. RESPECT.

Nice! The 71 340 auto trans cam was a good choice to wake up the 318 w/o going crazy. I run the Mopar Performance Purple shaft 340 'update' cam which though has a bit less lift and overlap, makes more torque, for my 360. I enjoyed the ride-a-long!

I have a '62 Plymouth Valiant with a 225 Slant Six. It runs really well. It has the push button automatic. I just need to do a front end alignment, new tires and a radiator to make it road worthy.

Not much of a Mopar fan, had 67 Belvedere wagon that was always, it seemed, needing front suspension work. The 3 favorite things on the car, though, was the 318 engine, the Torqueflite tranny, and that reduction gear starter motor sound. Other than that, it was a car that looked great in my rear view mirror as l drove away from it the last time.

Back in the day I would have given you sh** about the 318 but jeez it sure sounds good with that cam. Would be a real screamer with a big wedge motor in it, but she really sounds sweet as is.
