Are you using a 120 or 240 resistance welder? I just finished all the fab on my 68 camaro and this would’ve saved SO much time! I have a 70 charger to do next so thank you for taking the time to do these videos!

220v, yeah the resistance welder makes life so much easier and gives a superior result I just upgraded mine with much larger throat tongs. Thanks for watching

So when you weld from underneath, do you use any extra safety gear that you normally would not use when welding on your feet? Also what type and size of mig wire do you use? Great video, PLEASE keep them coming!

Absolutely, welding jacket, canvas pants or heavy jeans and all of the other safety equipment, I run .035 across the board... .025 is usually used on sheet metal. Share with your friends I need subscribers, Thanks for watching!

Why do u weld the trunk from underneath.

Much cleaner finish out.... the only way to weld from top would be to drill holes in pan, more work, more grinding, more material, etc. Thanks for watching

@@guzzifabrication3448 with gravity pulling the weld down isn't it hard to weld and isn't there alot of grinding After? Love your channel by the way

@@NortheastOhioDukes if you take the time to get a really nice fit up and machine is set correctly gravity really doesn't come into play
