I used to know this dude that had a 67/68 Cougar 302. It was green very close to British Racing Green original paint and the original tan interior. It was an automatic and in unfathomably good shape. Damn thing was classy as hell and fast. The engine sounded incredible. The car had less than 40k original miles to boot....dumbass traded it in on a new Mustang GT that broke down as soon as he got it lol.....

I’ve got a 57 300 which has a 289 from this car, the previous owner put it in. I bet it has pretty good speed because he probably tuned it and modified

I would say glorified Lincoln! Though it shares mustang chassis but wouldn't be this beautiful if Lincoln haven't been involved in this project..

I had a 68 all through college in the early 90's. Midnight blue, black vinyl top, same black interior look. 302, with some extras. This was like a ride down memory lane! Thx

I had a 302 boss just like this. Except it was more of a pea green color. Thing had some serious acceleration back then. It was so quick it would sling the spit out of your mouth. I was constantly having to clean the rear window. I was a young guy back in the 70s so of course I wrecked it.

I am working on my 68 cougar. I actually have a Dan gurney. I'm fixing the front end and replacing the booster and master cylinder. I can't wait to drive mine into work and let people oogle and aww over her. This was amazing though. It lit a fire under my ass about getting mine fixed. Yes ima female in case anyone was wondering, I got the car when I was 16, I'm 25 now. I almost sold her once but I realized what a gem I had. Specially with it bein a gurney. Thanks for this video.

Hi Cody - we have another cougar in stock as we speak! Just got it back from the paint shop after having a full repaint, its a 1967 Ford Mercury Cougar XR7 in basically the same colour as this car on the video however with tan interior, would that be of interest to you?!

I have two 68 cougar's one daily driver and one parts car , never needed parts off of it, its ben garaged and i dont have room for it. Its all strait little rust no motor or transmission . i'm willing to part with for 800$ come get it.

Hey, I see the "brake" light on the left of the dash staying illuminated. Is there a specific reason for it? My '68 does the same

When the piston inside the brake distribution block seizes to one side it will trigger the brake light. You can still use the brakes but it’s not as efficient and safe. Hope that helps

I can see why you miss the car Dan! Sounds and drives great...not a bad combination. Unfortunately this car proved to be extremely popular and sold fairly quickly however we have another cougar in stock at the moment awaiting a full body re-spray if that would interest you?!
