This 1969 Dodge Charger R/T was found on Facebook Marketplace of all spots. Not my usual way to cool cars. This garage find has been sitting in this garage we think for 30 years. At least the neighbor who had lived there for 30 years didn't even know the car was in there. Definitely not the usual Barn Finds or junkyard rescues.
It is funny though, this car, and the yellow 1971 Dodge Challenger R/T popped up in the same week, only about 30 miles from each others. It was a busy week of barn find hunting!

Interesting find, but that is one big rust bucket, most of which can't be seen yet. Wish the new owner good luck avoiding being upside down.

30k in paint & body panel replacement/repair....unless you are doing the work yourself...many labor hours are going to need to be invested without mentioning the floor pans & frame

The whole time I'm looking at the Chevy because my parents had a yellow 1975 4 door and I'll never forget that car because when my parents were going from used car dealers we came across a 1969 Camaro SS with 4 speed and I was begging my mom to get the Camaro but she insisted we need a 4 door and I kept telling her the seat will move and I can still get in the back but there was no way and I was broken hearted, she finally told me she cant drive a 4 speed and I told her we should keep looking for another Camaro that's an auto but she just wasn't interested.

G'day Ryan, Love my Charger's but $40,000 for that Charger. Personally I feel the new owner paid $ 15,000 too much but that is my opinion. Considering non numbers matching engine. But on the positive it is a genuine centre shift with console 1969 R/T Charger. Please keep us posted on the progress. Cheers Louis Kats 👍

The engine could be still Chrysler turquoise blue, I can’t remember when they went to orange in the charger up intel 69 1/2 with the 6 barrel?
@carebear2272
@carebear2272 5 ай бұрын
Could be an early 69 or maybe an air condition car why the engine is blue. The charger was a different animal then the other Chrysler HP cars when it came to engine colors, the Hemi and 440 6bl cars yes for sure orange or red but most other 383 and 440 seem to be in the Chrysler turquoise, but I’m a f ing 68 guy so what do I know lol
@AutoArchaeology
@AutoArchaeology 5 ай бұрын
68 would have the turquoise engine. This was more corporate blue. And 68s did not have emblems stock. They had the double bumble bee stripe, or nothing except the tail panel R/T Emblem.
