Lou, I'm a total car nerd. I am so glad to see in your videos that you zoom in on the individual gauges, emblems, lights etc. These are all the things that I would notice and appreciate if I were fortunate enough to be around the cars that you show us. Not many videos zoom in like you do. So keep it up Lou. Us car nerds really appreciate it! Oh, and the sound of that Shelby was amazing!

Love this Shelby... smooth flowing look all one color, less sporty, but classy look to my eye. I like it. I think the white interior looks lush! Like the stroker motor upgrade. Good rev sound! Another story I really enjoyed!! Thank you!!!!

NO STRIPES!!!! I love this era of Shelby mustangs. But, when I was a kid, I could never admit that to my family, or my brothers would never let up.

Great work Lou. I had a 1969 Firebird, triple green. I have only seen two since 1978. Where have all the 69 birds gone? I see tons of Mustangs, Camaros but rarely 69 birds. Please try to do a vid on the 69 birds. thanx. Keep up the great work. M

It seems like most Shelby’s were GT500’s. It’s cool to see the GT350 version. These cars were not common even when they were new.

Another great classic, Mr. Costabile. A couple little tidbits of info on these newly designed Shelbys. The taillights were taken from Ford's parts bin. They are actually '65 Thunderbird taillights. Also, there were 789 of these left unsold at the end of the model year. All were given new VIN plates, a chin spoiler, new hood stripes and titled as 1970 Shelbys. And now you know. why did they put reverse next too second ? my 69 ramair torino cobra had that , it just sucks . my 69 GT500 did not , never missed a shift

fang check simple to fix , flip the reverse bracket on trans . Some people thought it was cooooool . I agree with u . Much like a new fad pronouncing straight or stripe schtraight ( started with females in the getto) or should i say schtarted . Some people mistake weird for cool

The Whites Stripes Sometime Used Didn' t Look Right On This Color ,But The Gold Translucent Ones Were Perfect W/ This Color.Great Upgrade on the Engine,Probably Will Give a GT500 A Run.Inside is Perfect Also,Even the Chrome Bezels Around the Gauges Were Replaced.Tks For Sharing This Beauty .

I like look when is pure and clean, no stripes but that is just aesthetics and not considering authenticity. Even so, without the stripes it is not original, so I will put the stripes back on!!! Those vents on the hood are NACA ducts.

My newly painted '69 Chevelle looks better with the pinstripes appled that weren't replaced when my dad had it repainted in 1988. I say stripes on that 69 Mustang.

U can pronounce ur name kavardnic and spell it lou , but shctr trend ( started with females in the getto ) just sounds really weird , and u hav such a great video going here ! I too left the stripes off of mine . Love the stipes , like it a little better w/o stripes . Im so glad a friend pointed out to me that its height not heidth (like width) cuz that was a trend too for a while
