I can almost smell the exhaust just listening to it... needs to hold throttle to 1600 RPMs until it warms up.... having that stuff on the side that could fall on it is brave

I inherited a 74 factory plum crazy purple 440 six pack challenger that’s all original and I know it’s rare but can hardly find any info on it somebody tell me how rare it actually is

You can hire a service from Galen Govier and he will certify how rare yours is based on options color etc

A 74? That means the engine has probably been de tuned.. lower compression ratio.. less aggressive camshaft.. not saying it's not worth much any classic car fetches a pretty penny but muscle cars to buy are anything from pre 1972 if you want the full power engine..

underated,actually 410 horse,they did this for the insurance companies who were raising hell in those days,sounds like a 268- 284 -484 cam,built one for a lawyer,it ran 151 mph,strong engines

@@ronbloomberg yea it was damn close to the rating on the advertised hemi,and was faster than the hemi in the 1/4,due to weight,they both screamed,the rear end gears held them back,jumping to the 3.9 axle unleashed hell on all of the stockers out of detroit

@@ronbloombergGROSS ADVERTISED 390 HP@4700 RPM and Torque 490lbs-ft@3200 with 10.5:1 compression and 3--2bbl. Holley carbs straight from the Mopar factory. All the good stuff for low to mid 4 grand back in 1970 which translates to about 31 to 35 g's in 2023. Now that was a LOT of bang for the buck. Mopar 2 U CH. Mopar or NO car at all!
