I used to have a 72, with a 250 strait 6. I used to travel up and down the east coast with it. My brother even raced a punk kid in a Mustang through Delaware in my Maverick. Great memories from when I was young.

Mi mamá tuvo un Maverick 1970 hasta 1977. El carro era blanco de dos puertas y automático además 6 cilindros. Ella lo usaba para ir a trabajar como para todos lados. Bonitos recuerdos cuando uno es niña. Y esos tiempos jamás vuelven.

My second car age 18. I purchased 1970 Maverick January, 1,300 New off the lot. I was in high school and traded my 1963 Chev. Impala. I got 350 trade-ins and payments of 52 dollars a month. I made 1 dollar and hour at the burger place. The 206 engine was out running 289 Mustangs.

I have a blue Ford Maverick 1970 in Mexico. Now is under restoration. I love my car but I don't know why if I've 26 year old. Lol

I drive a '70 Maverick that's no way as nice as this one. Black primer, no interior to speak of. But it gets a lot of attention because it's the only one around, and many older people remember them. "The uncle had one", "had one in high school", that kind of thing. Many youngsters have never seen one before. 265 HP 302, AOD, 9-inch, and Cherry Bombs so you can hear it coming too. Lotsa fun.
