One of my dream cars... love this body style

It's a very nice unit take care of it.. I did have a '70 442 W-30 2-door hardtop automatic all org. With the Hurst Duel Gate Shifter, manual steering & breaks, 3;90:1 Posi-track, I swapped out the camshaft for the 328 duration stick grind, a set of headers and Holly 750 dubble pumper spread bore carb. Quite a few tricks and slicks got it running the quarter mile at 12:60's @ 102 M.P.H. can't complain about that..

Love it, this is my ultimate classic dream car. I only like the 70, I don't like the tail lights on the other years. I'll definitely have one in the future.

Super sweet 442, muscle and luxury. Been looking for one. I'll probably go with a tribute or clone as the price of the factory 442 has gone way up there. Personally I would have left yours in the beast mode!!!

sweet Olds 442, I love the fact that you changed the gears in the rear axel for being more conducive to cruising n highway, when I get one soon I Don't plan on Keepig it looked up safely in my garage n not ever beirg ridden, I want to be able to take it for a cruise listen to the radio play my favorite songs n listen to the motor at other times, Same as I cruise when on the Harley, now of course I won't cruise every weekend when nice out because we do love our Harleys n riding them on weekends n during the week, but it will be driven for dinner or ice cream, a occasional local car show maybe once a month, my racing days are about over with, did plenty of thar when young, Glad to see you love to drive yours too, and put the gears in there you want, the heck with what others think, its your damn car lol

My dad had a silver cutlass supreme 1972 vintage black interior rally wheels etc the rear quarter panels were a little different then the 69s more squared off I think I like that slight design Chang a little better then the 69s but I guess that's what I'm used to...

In 1970 there was no " Cutlass 442". 442 was its own model. Cutlass was its own model.

One of the best riding cars in 1970. You don't mention if you have the Hurst shifter. It doesn't look like it. Hot Rod Magazine called it the sports Eldorado. It was not called Cutlass 442 but an Oldsmobile 442. Oldsmobile F85, Oldsmobile Cutlass , Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme and an Oldsmobile FX? and Oldsmobile 442 W30 package. All had different front grilles for the different model lines. Many called their cars 442.

The 442 was its own model in 1970. It's not a Cutlass 442.

0-60 seems slow. But when they tested these cars they ran on bias ply tires and would burn rubber through most of 1st gear which was a joke for getting accurate e/t's. My 69 Ply. 383 Roadrunner would spin tires for 15' before getting grip.

There uo there at around 600torque not 500mine has still the original cam and lifters and meety back tires original stock mtr.and i have had several original owner w machine,s but the that i ve kept for decades has a mind of its own.Ive taken olds freaks and Oldsmobile judjes for rides and they said the same thing .Holy Shot and Omg,,stopppp .I wantedto put a little nastier cam in it when i was younger ,still temped but not now on this car , maybe my other 1970 I'll never get on it like that anymore ,just cruise and of course ill stomp on it once in a while but nothing like my younger year days and ill stay with the original cam and everything else Enjoy your Oldsmobiles everyone and God Bless you all

A real w30 will burn the tires through all the the gears even leaving it in drive untill you take your foot of the gas period .Areal one even stock is a torque beaast that will wrap you around a telephone pole

Why are you leaning on the fender??? So that is a 4A2 then.. Sorry that car is not real it's a clone and the W-30 is rated at 365 H.P. the Hurst/Olds is 370 H.P... What letter heads are on that car
