That toy was obviously loved and played with a lot, judging by the bent axels and bent in corners. Great to see it ready for sandbox work again! I remember it from when I was a kid. The neighbor kids had one. You got it perfect right down to the right decals. And I'll have to remember that BB trick. Thanks. Brought back a lot of memories.

It is a fine restoration, but with the addition of the crane, it has become a great restoration.

I'm currently working on this. I wish you would have showed the disassembly of the crane section, but awesome job overall. I only hope mine turns out nearly as well!

I have got one of these when I was four, I still have it and am fixing the things wrong with it, but I think I remember a way to make the bucket open and close with the string.

Not covering up all the metal with rust remover will cause a line that you'll never be able to get rid of. Just a FYI for you. Should have cold blued those bear metal parts Looks great besides the rusty nut you put back on LOL Enjoyed your video and I gave it a Thumbs Up

You are very observant. You're absolutely correct. I did see the rusty nut when I watched the full length play-back. I did take the nut off and replace it with a new one after I saw it. Way to keep me honest. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching!
