1971 Aston Martin DBS V8 | Driving The Last David Brown Aston Martin
Aston Martin DBS V8. The next Craig on Cars Special is exactly that - we get to have a close look at an early 1971 Aston Martin DBS V8 - one of only 95 made with a manual transmission and with the Bosch MFI system. The last true David Brown Aston Martin and a proper gentleman's of the day Grand Tourer, this Aston Martin DBS V8 is a truly special car, both in the way it drives and with its bold styling, designed to take Aston Martin into the future. It also features a 5.4 litre quad cam V8 engine, and with its factory sports exhaust boy does it sound amazing!
If you were lucky enough to own an Aston Martin DBS V8 when new then you had very much arrived in life - join me as we find out more about this fabulous car and encounter exactly what that ownership experience must have been like. Many thanks to the owner Steve for the opportunity to film and drive his amazing car.
