It seems odd to have a pole position car starting further back than the cars in second and third grid spots.

great video, proves everything I have ever wanted to prove about muscle cars it doesn't matter what size engine you have it's down to power to weight and chassis, I am guessing the Camero was very non-standard, saying that they raced them very successfully in trans-am, until the Europeans blown cars took over, would have liked to see the end and saw who won, I bet the amount of fuel the guy in the Camero had probably weighed more than the minis, and Murray Walker not knowing how to pronounce Camero, was quite funny too.

The Camaro spun out if I remember correctly. Mike Crabtree crossed the line first but I think got a 10 second penalty for a jump start which meant victory to Gerry Marshall in the Vauxhall. The race was epic between the three from start to finish!
