Lorne Greene did the voice over. I saw a movie made in Vancouver Canada and I saw an early 1970's Chevy Nova. Had Pontiac rallye wheels, so much for engineering

My dad has a beautiful silver and light blue 1971 Nova SS. Too bad my whole family can't ride cause there isn't any back buckles

"Should we change it?" Well, they nailed the look but it would've been nice if they'd put the secondgen Camaro suspension under it then and there instead of waiting until 1975. For that matter they already changed it too much, instead of drinking the long hood/short deck koolaid they should've kept the '62-7 dash-to-axle dimensions in the '68 redesign, like Mopar had done with the Valiant/Dart a year earlier.

My 1968 Chevy II Nova has a 4 cylinder engine (original equipment) 28 mpg.

Actually, the basic styling was still the same in 1973. The only changes were the new 5-mph safety bumpers that every new '73 car was required to have, and the rear of the car was modified slightly to accommodate the new hatchback model. At this time also, the Oldsmobile Omega and Buick Apollo were introduced for 1973 - the latter with portholes added on each side for good measure. (Pontiac had brought out its Ventura II in 1971.) The GM compacts - collectively called "X-body" - got new bodies for 1975. They still had the same chassis introduced with the '68 Nova - same 111-inch wheelbase. The real replacement came on April 19, 1979, when the new front-drive X-bodies came on the scene as early 1980 models. The Chevy Nova became the Citation, and was awarded Motor Trend magazine's "Car Of The Year." Unfortunately, the Citation and its cousins were plagued with endless recalls in their first year (that's another story for later). (9/16/19)
