Hello and welcome to Saabkyle04! KZfaq's largest collection of automotive variety! In today's video, we will take an up close and personal in depth look at 1972 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. During this presentation, we will take a 1st person look at what the vehicle is all about beginning with the start up, performance data, fuel economy, the occasional track data, and build quality. Also, I will teach you how to use most of the interior and exterior features in a detailed fashion, that before, you could only get from going to a dealership yourself! Throughout the video, I will highlight key styling and unique differences about the vehicle, any available options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast car video without the good ole engine portion with rev and exhaust note with interior and exterior perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.
FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CHANNEL SEE BELOW: In this channel you will find in depth reviews/tour of automobiles from all over the world, presented in a more detailed fashion than ever before. Basically, this gives the viewer the chance to view the most detailed 1st person look you can get without going to an actual dealer yourself! Every video is consistent in the way I present so viewers know what to expect in my presentations. I treat every vehicle with the same respect whether a 1960 Chevrolet Impala SS or the 2012 Lamborghini Aventador. I film all types of vehicles from past, present, and future while broadening the knowledge of the automotive enthusiast. You will see everything from vintage, brand new, exotic, mainstream, old, etc. I am very proud of this channel and have built it up from amateur videos years ago to what you see today. I wanted to share my love for the automotive world with the rest of the world. Be sure to explore the massive video variety, have fun and enjoy The Driver's Seat of KZfaq!

michael brown Do not go to a dealership and pay $35,000 for some polish that will wear off in about a week. You can find these cars absolutely everywhere in the countryside! Mine was a barn find that was in amazing condition, and only had 14,000 miles. The farmer who owned the car had no use for it, and sold it to me for $5,000. Driving this baby back across the United States to California was an experience to remember.

Christoph Thompson Actually these C3 Corvettes '68-82 are extremely difficult to find in good shape. This one is in rare condition that probably would cost $35K to restore this way. The Vetts after '72 are not as collectable because they removed considerable horsepower to meet EPA standards and for other reasons. You can buy one for $5K but a new paint job the quality of this one will cost about $20K. Fiberglass is nasty to work on and 99 out of 100 shops won't paint them.

My family friend has a blue on blue '69 with a 4 speed, L71 427, factory side pipes and racing L88 widebody. Beautiful car but it's actually quite comfortable and quieter than I would expect (when the roof and back window are in). Riding in it during the summer is a blast!
@sdb87149
@sdb87149 9 жыл бұрын
Now, granted my trip only lasted about 40 minutes and that was with the roof off and around town. So I can see where on a long trip on the free way, it would be bumpy and noisy.

Nice video and comment on the car. It gives a pretty good impression of how these early chrome bumper Corvettes look, sound and feel. I have only a few gripes: One is the troublesome but very cool hidden wiper function with a door lifting up and down when you pressed the button is not shown. The same goes for the removable rear window. Eventhough the 72 still had the very cool look of the chrome bumpers, this model year had already lost a few awesome features of the earlier cars: The Fiber Optic displays for the outer lights among them. Then the headlamp washers and of course worst of all those awesome angry high compression engines were gone by 72. But even without that, the 72 is one of the nicest Corvettes every built.

It amazes me as to the amount of disdain toward the C3. Personally, knowing the lineage, and the concept in which this was based upon, i find the C3 such a striking design. Looked like nothing on the road when it debuted. One of my favorites for sure!

P02 option Very rare to see, I love them. All Vettes had steel slotted 8 inch rims. You could switch from wheel covers to center caps and trim rings which I like. Only Corvette finned covers had the protruding center cap. These were available on most Chevy's 70-72 but they had flat cheaper center caps.

I preferred the standard Vette, I like the standard hood, and would have wanted the 350 over the larger engine. I don't even know why they offered power windows when you can easily reach over and crank the windows up and down. A buddy had a gold one with a four speed and I got to drive it a lot.
