You've already got parts- I even made one last Fall. Get pants, long sleeve shirt, gloves, boots. Zip tie all together. Fill/stuff with damp leaves through unbuttoned shirt, then button up tight. If you need rigidity- use broom handles in torso and/or back. Basketball or pumpkin head, hat. Makeup, polyfill beard, spray paint any color. Corn cob pipe. Rocking chair, put in car, front porch, roof. Put up on ladder with Christmas lights going up to it- like he's helping. Wet/damp leaves pack better, then dry fine. My friend's Aunt used to make and sell $50 each, $10 clothes from Goodwill & free leaves. They used twine back then, no zip ties. Last for years. Your girls would have a ball making them.

I bought a '72 Camper Special" F250. Body was good, but the 360 had about 3 psi of oil pressure. Found a '73 FTE 390 with an Edelbrock intake & a 410 tag on it at a junkyard I was friendly with. Pulled the heads, block was good (flood truck). Bought for $200. Took to a machinist buddy & sure enough...428 crank! Got some heads from a friend of a buddy in Oregon for $450. Big valve, '64 vintage, hardened seats. We built that motor- one of the torquey- ist motors I've ever owned

A story on that decal on the door. I was backed over by a Ford quite similar to that one in 1978. Doing a state inspection at the shop I worked at, did the outside brake test, pulled the truck into bay 1, put it in park, opened the door while it was running, went around to align and check the headlights, and the damn thing popped into reverse. While running. and started backing itself out the bay door. I raced to the open door , dove in and grabbed the column shift, missed, and had the door wreck my left knee. 16 weeks later I was back at work. I wasn't the first , nor the last to have the shift selector detent fail on them. Never made it to court. 2 years later Ford offered $1200 to settle. Wife said to take it. My knee is still trash.

Judging from the looks of that oil pan there is something in the engine that wanted out! It looks like it almost made it! In response to the recall on Fords due to them jumping from park to reverse it most certainly happened! I bought a 1970 Maverick from a man for $50.00 because his wife got run over by it not once but twice and she thought it was possessed!! I gave it to my stepdaughter to drive but it liked her it didn't run her over! I didn't bother to point out that getting run over once was due to a defect in the vehicle, But getting run over twice was due to a defect in the driver! For a few years you had Fords running over their owners and if that didn't kill them they had a little piece of rubber hose in the fuel line that connected the line to the filter that would crack open and set the car on fire! I know you will find this hard to believe but I was at the same gas station twice when women pulled right up to the gas pump because their car was on fire! And it was the same gas station that the guys wife got run over twice at! I finally quit going there! I know what you mean about the power wash video's I still can't decide who is the most lame, You for posting them or us for watching them!
