Please help us to continue transferring these rare 16mm film reels that cost us anywhere from $275 to $350 per reel depending on the size of the film reel. We use Yale Video and Transfer in Valencia, CA to transfer our footage. Ironically, Yale Video is that same company that shot this footage over 5-decades ago. With nearly 1000 16mm film reels in our collection from 1969 to 1973, it's imperative that we get as much financial help as possible to continue posting newly transferred content on the Tommy Hawkins KZfaq channel.

I was 12 years old when Anthony Davis played for USC. I remember getting his autograph which I still have!

As a long time player and coach I've always thought that more needs to be made of the 1974 comeback game. In all my years it's still the most thrilling game I've ever seen.

I love these Tom Hawkins segments, thought it is unfortunate that players' answers are sometimes edited out. That USC team had a whole NFL worth of stars, though curiously Anthony Davis never played a minute in the NFL.

He did play with Tampa Bay in 1977 and was a backup with the Houston Oilers and Los Angeles Rams in 1978 after he had played in the WFL and in Canada. He also played in the USFL in 1983.
