We're looking at a 1973 Jaguar E-Type XJE V12 Fixed Head Coupe FHC in Silver paint and engine start up.
The car's Owner is Rich Cannistra. Rich has had the car since 2009. He shares he smile every time he sees the car.

Great car -- maybe the most practical exotic of all time -- I've owned a '74 convertible for 30 years and loved every minute -- very reliable once I found a knowledgeable mechanic. But the coupe is even more practical with gobs of storage for multiple golf bags, etc. Turbine smooth, quick, fast, great handling -- the most reasonably priced high-powered exotic, period.

This Being one I have own and Drove for a couple of years before starting a restoration, about 20 years ago,,, got Married so it has be put off until recently, My car is a clone of this one...but a 72 model.. WOW! I will double my efforts after seeing this Lou..... Thanks Much.... You know it's been almost 5 years ago, so another V12 E Coupe would be "Nice"

Lou: this is has been my dream car since a kid. I can remember the first time I saw the V12 model in '71,in red of course. For me this is the ultimate. I'd really love to own one,oh well at least I can dream!

Hey Lou and Rich, awesome Jag, love the color for this coupe style. I have to say I am still fond of the convertible in this style too. Beautiful car! You can tell Rich loves this car when your opened that hood looking down underneath how clean everything is. ;)

Those are series 2 wire wheels and the over riders are from 1971. It's called a boot not a hatch. The hood is aluminum. Jaguar emblems are either growlers or leapers. The "hood" is a bonnet. The E-type out performed Ferraris of the day. Plus the Jaguar V12 is FAR more durable than the Italian V12s.

Dareis Nogod. The Coupe I must admit is not as attractive as the Convertible...the Roof always looked to high for my likes. I own a V12 convertible and have had it for 28 years now and run it every Saturday and Sunday (Scottish weather permitting) with foot to the floor as that is what the big V12s like.
