A friend had one in highschool. The body and bed probably had as much rust as original steel, but it ran.

Built by Isuzu, not Toyota. Isuzu was partly owned by GM. GM's relation with Toyota didn't happen until the 1980's

@@OsbornTramain Once Again Toyota is Back with GM by NUMMI Beginning with Chevy Nova 1985-1988,Geo Prizm 1990-1997 2 Generations,Chevy Prizm 1998-2002 And Pontiac Vibe 2 Generations 2003-2010 it Shares with Toyota Sprinter,Corolla And Matrix Platforms

Isuzu, actually. The Chevrolet LUV continued in other countries, but not the U.S.. The Chevrolet Colorado was a spiritual successor to the LUV in the U.S..

At any rate, the Chevy LUV truck pictured here is a pretty darn nice looking little truck here. Can't beat the looks and design of this truck, ever. Only down part of it is it rusted out way to early within it's lifespan of use.
