From angle grinder to angel grinder. absolutely great work. some tips from the couch (no criticism) replace connection cable / Consider whether you can galvanize or nickel-plate rusty screws and washers / the slotted screws are quite tortured by the impulse screwdriver, perhaps you can be more careful when tightening the screws / keep up the good work, I'm looking forward to all future videos, very nice craftsmanship

Yes, at first I thought it wasn't too bad of an idea because you were trying to keep the original plug end on it, but when you went to cut off the plug end and put that strange looking one on instead, it didn't make sense that you kept the cord. You only end up using a piece of cord with cracks and poor shielding. You could have gotten brand new piece of cord for six or seven dollars. Especially since you were putting brand new ends on each side.

You know, I can certainly understand wanting to use and re-use as many original parts as possible, but in the case of the power cord, getting a new one would have been a better idea. You know, one that's not cut in places. Other than that, I think with a bit more effort, the result of your restoration would have been great instead of good. As it is, it was a decent job. Nothing else to say.

Just a question, looks as if you took a 100v Japan plug or 110v North American plug and put a 230v euro plug on it. Do you have some sort of voltage regulator that we can see? Pretty sure that grinder was not intended for 230 volts. Cracked me if I'm wrong. Anyways, nice video.
